- At the direction of government agencies, financial institutions or investment houses feasibility studies are conducted.
- Advise and coordinate the design process and planning approval.
- Project brief is prepared on behalf of client.
- Site conditions and structure are assessed.
- Preliminary design drawings are produced or obtained and probable costs are estimated.
- Process is coordinated through which final design documentation will be completed and approved by client.
- Documentation is submitted to obtain authorised planning approval for the project.
- Planning appeals are prepared and presented to the authority if necessary.
- Review building or construction works.
- Contract documentation is checked to ensure client interests are protected.
- Building or construction works are regularly monitored and reports are provided on the progress and quality of work.
- Variations are checked and referred back to contractors as required.
- Progress claims are checked and approved.
- Provide advice on dispute resolution.
- Disputes are negotiated on behalf of the client.
- Impartial advice is provided to the parties involved in a building related dispute for equitable settlement.
- Referrals are provided for expert legal interpretation of contractual matters.
- Expert testimony and evidence are provided in the event of disputes going to court.
